Something MORE, finally?
The CCN staff collectively called a non-meeting at the drop of their hats, the turn of their (lost) keys, and the sound of a faint but familiar alarm (the Victor Laxman type, of course).
No one plans to attend the non-meeting immediately as soon as possible. Veralun rather sheepishly said he would be there, but would not explain the sheepishness. Tyion lept onto the roof of the temporary above desert office just to see that he could, and claimed success although the entire structure had once again sunk two feet below ground level. Ghaelen sat patiently on her crate that she had protected against ‘use-in-wall-building’ and nodded approvingly as Tyion cheered when he landed with both feet on the office roof. Veralun looked at the roof for a moment as if to consider leaping upon it as well, then looked at the ground and backed up two steps. Alty did not have to shout for him to stay off that roof and out of that darned hole.
Even Rita plans to not attend the non-meeting. She was last seen setting out every tool she owned (and had borrowed while in the cavern) to be sure it was clean and in proper working order for the upcoming descent. For her it is quite certain, once she decided it was even possible. Nothing and no one will convince her that the wires hadn’t held over the last year or so. She plans to make use of the Underground Radio being discussed on the DRC forums.
The non meeting is not planned for this upcoming weekend. Everyone is welcome to not attend.

I noticed my name was left off the roster of invitees? Then I realized I could still be fired from my regular post at CCN. Nothing has changed, I admit it. I am still spoiled, pig-headed and looking for the Teledahn connection, but I did sit out the last few months at the desert station that is now not much more than dust.
I am not going to ask for a job. It is not in my character to beg. It is always better to be asked nicely, invited, considered, or be offered a deal with D’ni money. If none of that is possible, then it is time for me to remind you all that I was an original producer – appeal to your sentimental side. And one last item – without me there would be little controversy, and less story. Remember that when you leave me out .

Oh Ruby, I see as I go back through my notes that you are right. I left out an entire paragraph section. “Even Ruby, generally in attendance [i] in absentia[/i], promised in good faith (and with no fingers crossed behind her back) that she would attend the non-meeting.”
I apologize profusely, with obtuse excuses, and I attribute the entire affair to a complete fragmentation of intellect upon hearing we were all going home.
It is also, I am sure, due to a lack of assistance since Mr. Jules took hold of the CCN financial accounts. Oh, I meant to bring that up…. do Tyion and Veralun know about that?

I just learned about it today Ghaelen. Honestly, that man is really getting to me, I mean, first my Coffee Maker is taken, and now he is messing with are D’ni Dollar! agh! It’s time for a man hunt.
